Why it matters
Sprinkler systems are prescribed fire safety installations under Queensland's Building Fire Safety Regulation. Routine testing confirms the water supply, valves and alarms will operate as designed.
Layout changes matter too. New racking, partitions or ceilings can obstruct or change sprinkler coverage, so it's worth having the system checked whenever your space changes.

FAQ
Fire Sprinklers: common questions
Can't see your question? Call 07 3916 4344 and talk to the team.
How often should sprinklers be serviced?
AS 1851 sets routine sprinkler activities from monthly through to yearly, with additional five-yearly checks. Your schedule depends on the system type and its water supply.
Do fit-out changes affect our sprinklers?
They can. Partitions, racking, mezzanines and new ceilings can block or change coverage. Tell us what's planned and we'll check what's needed before the work starts.
Can you modify an existing system?
Yes. We extend and modify existing sprinkler systems for fit-outs and layout changes, as well as installing new systems.
